Daiquiris for days at El Floridita! This is where the famous daiquiri was created and they have every conceivable flavour of the cocktail on the menu that we happily worked our way through.

Harking back to Hemingway's day Editors' Note

The food is expensive in El Floridita but is worth it if only for the sheer ambiance redolent of the grand old days when Hemingway himself drank his daiquiri here.

There is an elegant circular dining area with marble pillars and sultry lighting. Lavish and inventive dishes include flaming shrimp in rum and lobster thermidor.
