Home to some of the most expensive properties in the world, St. John’s Wood was once under the reign of the Knights of St John of Jerusalem. Despite its rich history, the district is now famous for the Abbey Road Studios where The Beatles recorded the Abbey Road album.

St John’s Wood has also some renowned cricket clubs and grounds, namely the Lord’s Cricket Ground and the Middlesex County Cricket Club and the Marylebone Cricket Club.
