The gateway to all of Italy
The third-largest city of Sicily, Messina was founded by the Greeks in the 8th century BC. This legacy is still evident in many of the city’s attractions, art, and architecture. There are numerous must-sees in the area, but for the ultimate trip, the Cathedral, the church Santa Maria degli Alemanni, and the Regional Museum are captivating. The San Ranieri lighthouse is inspiration to discovering the surrounding nature around Messina as well.
