A city of Miracoli

Gelateria Naturale Artigianale De' Coltelli continues a tradition begun by the famous Francesco Procopio De’ Coltelli who, at the end of the XVIIth century, invented a “little weird thing” that made gelati better, and more accessible to all.

The weird thing was using sugar instead of honey and salt which were previously used to preserve ice cream longer. Today, Gelateria Naturale Artigianale De' Coltelli still makes ice creams respecting an ancient tradition, using only organic raw materials such as milk, fresh cream, fresh eggs, sugar and water filtered adequately.
