With the history of Prague’s culture resting on the creativity surroundings its music and performing arts, the National Theater (Narodni divadlo) is an important part of the city. Acting as a symbol of national identity, the heritage of Czechs lives on in the artistic creativity displayed here.

Today the National Theater (Narodni divadlo) emphasizs three artistic areas–opera, drama dna ballet. You’ll find alternating performances put on in this historic building, with tradition and modern exploration abounding with each show. The building comprises of three theaters: the National Theater, Estates Theater and Kolowrat Theater.
