More pintxos bar than just bar, this is my favorite place for traditional pintxos and they carry the entire line of Basqueland Brewing Project beers. It’s always lively and always delicious.

A classic favored by top chefs, locals and everybody else so it’s crowded but worth the wait for grilled wild mushrooms and mini croissants filled with ham.

Basque style bar and restaurant Editors' Note

In business for over 25 years, Ganbara is a bar and restaurant, rooted in Bascue traditions. It is a local favorite in Parte Vieja, for pintxos and quality wine.

Ganbara’s cellars stock an excellent selection of local wines, as well as French wines, champagnes, and dessert wines. The food menu consists mainly of fish, seafood and meats. There’s a vegetable stew for vegetarians.
