Turquoise seas, sandy beaches, and rich cuisine

The second-largest island of the Mediterranean, Sardinia is an exotic paradise, perfect to visit from early spring to early fall, when everything is bright and full of authentic flavors. This is an island of contrasting lifestyles, with a rich Catalan legacy mixing with African influence by proximity. From Cagliari to Sassari, from Bosa to Olbia, the island welcomes you with traditional Italian hospitality, and a wealth of things to see and do.

Pure paradise Editors' Note

If you follow Lido di Orrì down the coast of San Gemiliano, you will find Spiaggia di Cea, a 2km stretch of white sands paradise, surrounded by patches of juniper trees. This is the site of the scenic Punta Niedda, a snorkelling paradise.

Spiaggia di Cea is also known for its pristine beauty, and for its superb diving sites. The surrounding waters are also excellent for fishing. The beach is recommended for families with children and more.
