The Miracle on the Han

A modern city, Seoul boasts over 10 million inhabitants, and is considered one of East Asia’s financial and cultural epicenters. Amongst the modern skyscrapers, Korea’s royal palaces stand carefully preserved, like precious relics of the past. There is a wealth of breathtaking architectural gems just waiting to be discovered. Add them to your Seoul travel guide, along with other attractions like Seoul’s mountains, its green parks, the temples and shrines, and the city’s amazing amusement parks. Shopping here is a rewarding experience, and when it comes to the performing arts, this is where Seoul’s heart beats loud.

Korean Foodie

A two Michelin star restaurant by chef Yim Jung Sik that has taken Korean food to another level by bringing molecular gastronomic techniques into Korean cuisine. Fantastically good Korean fusion dishes that have beautifully delicate presentations.

One of Seoul's best ever Editors' Note

Jung Sik Dang is the dream of Chef Yim Jung Sik, who opened his flagship restaurant several years ago. A New York contingent having won its first Michelin Star in 2012. The Seoul version is no less perfect, but it is slightly more casual and friendly tucked away in a small alley in the city center.

Located in the trendy Gangnam district, the peaceful atmosphere here gives way to some extraordinary and colorful culinary art. Be sure and try the samgyeopsal, or friend pork belly here, it’s to die for. Reservations are a must.
