Despite its laid-back culture, there is a genuine fizz of creative energy, which can be seen in the constant building work and artistic endeavour across the city, not least in its kitchens. The Acorn is one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver, offering a higher end vegetarian and vegan dining experience with both gluten free and raw options at great value. The restaurant offers an excellent organic seasonal menu that always features a dish made with locally harvested ingredients. Mains range from $18 - $20, every plate displays outstanding presentation with unique flavour combinations that delightfully surprise your palette. Local beer and wine options are always on the menu.

The Acorn is a stylish restaurant, a favorite for vegans and vegetarians. They serve creative cuisine, based on fresh seasonal produce. Some of their highlight dishes include kale salad, butternut squash mac and cheese, and the Halloumi main.

The Acorn sources vegetables and herbs mainly from local farms. The menu also features a choice of non alcoholic beverages, and The Acorn signature cocktails. Craft beers, spirits and artisan cheese complete the menu.

The Acorn also features works by different artists every month, in their Artist Series program.
