A city for all seasons

Home of the Habsburgs, the capital of classical music, and the multicultural melting pot of Mitteleuropa, Vienna is one of Europe’s most fascinating cities. Its slow-paced life, architectural variety, and intensely seasonal cultural and gastronomic pleasures make Vienna an ideal destination for visitors. Get ready for balmy summer evenings at wine taverns, mugs of mulled wine at Christmas markets, and strolls through historic streets.

The ever so popular Ulrich requires a reservation to get a seat for breakfast, no matter what day it is. A casual cafe frequented by university students, Ulrich’s homemade Chai tea served with honey and milk is recommended as well as ‘'The Big Easy’‘ a large omelette served with a hearty portion of baby spinach along side yummy avocado toast with cottage cheese.

The food is delicious and the place is an absolute insider café where all the “cool people” hang out.

Cozy eatery near the church St. Ulrich Editors' Note

Gerald Bayer’s Ulrich has interiors inspired by the contemporary chic cafes of Australia and New Zealand: elegant, yet cozy, with a long bar, and several tables around the dining room, plus a street-side terrace in front of the entrance.

Ulrich offers a variety of small appetizer plates, sharing plates, which are very reasonably priced, a signature burger, cheeses and desserts. The lunch menu changes weekly. Ulrich is also a very popular breakfast spot.
